In any given month, quizzes make up some of the most shared pieces of content on the web. Why are quizzes so hot? Owen Fuller will share lessons learned from reverse engineering an inhuman amount of viral quizzes on sites like Buzzfeed and Qzzr. He’ll teach the secrets Qwizards use to drive social traffic and generate leads, including the keys to optimizing quiz titles, questions, imagery, calls-to-action and outcomes. He’ll wrap by taking you on a personal tour of the hall-of-fame of quizzes, including the quiz that broke the internet and another that has already generated over one million dollars in revenue.

You’ll also hear a government case study from Jessica Milcetich and Edgardo Morales, who piloted a quiz in December for USAGov. They’ll share their strategy for choosing the quiz format and their lessons learned with Qzzr.

About the Presenters

Owen Fuller is the Chief Qwizard at Qzzr where he works with the top publishers, brands, and agencies in the world, including Yahoo!, NBC, LinkedIn, Marketo, Ogilvy, and many public entities. Qzzr makes it easy to create, embed, and share engaging quizzes with your audience. Prior to Qzzr, Owen built and sold Fit Marketing, an inbound marketing agency that rode years of 100%+ annual growth to recognition as one of Utah’s fastest growing companies.

Jessica Milcetich is a digital strategist at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) where she manages marketing campaigns and social media for, and In her role, Jessica helps thousands of Americans with questions about navigating the complexities of the federal government. Prior to joining GSA, Jessica was a journalist who covered business and consumer news at the York Daily Record in York, Pa. She has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland and is currently pursuing her MBA. When she’s not busy working, studying or cheering for the Terps, Jessica spends her time running marathons and triathlons.

Edgardo Morales is an outreach and marketing specialist at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) where he manages social media for the USAGov platform. Edgardo worked in communications and research before graduating with a Bachelors’ degree in Public Communication from American University. When he’s not monitoring social media or the news cycle, he spends his time trying new food and playing basketball.
